The Winds Lament: Initial Sketches

Hi Reader,

I’m excited to share one of my illustrator, Nabiha Rahman’s, early digital sketches for The Wind’s Lament — one of my short stories!

The girl in the sketch is Saira, alongside her grandmother, Bina. This piece captures so much of the mood and magic I had in mind while writing, and I couldn’t wait to give you a little behind-the-scenes peek.
