Concept Art: The Night and The Vigil

Hi Reader,

I have something darkly beautiful to share today. It is a new piece of concept art for my book Honeyed Myths: Night and the Vigil, created by the incredibly talented Sottiss.

The piece captures Gorath, the ancient and hungry force at the heart of the story. 

What I love about this artwork is how Sottiss managed to capture the folklore-horror of the story in his art. He understood the tone of the story immediately and brought it to life with such skill and atmosphere. I cannot recommend his work enough. If you are ever in need of something haunting and full of character, definitely check them out!

I cannot wait for you to read Night and the Vigil and meet Gorath for yourself. The story is a horror story, but also has a lot of heart to it! In essence, it is a story about the things we fear, the things we love, and the quiet acts of courage and familial love that keep the dark at bay.
